Tennis exhibition at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates



Four of the most recognizable superstars in modern tennis came together for one Legendary Night of competition and entertainment. John McEnroe along with fellow champions Jim Courier, Anna Kournikova and Jana Novotna headlined the evening's competition. The event was held at the Sears Centre, a brand-new multi-purpose family entertainment, cultural and sports center in Hoffman Estates, IL.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Men's singles - Seven-time Grand Slam singles champion John McEnroe matched up against four-time Grand Slam singles champion Jim Courier. Courier is currently ranked #1 on the Outback Champions Series and McEnroe is ranked #2 …so the competition was needless to say intense between these two hall of fame tennis rivals.

Mixed doubles – featured two-time Grand Slam doubles champion Anna Kournikova who paired up with Courier. They took on Wimbledon singles champion Jana Novotna, who was paired with McEnroe. The players were mic'd so the crowd heard exactly what they were saying to themselves - and each other - in the heat of the battle.
